GENEALOGY

• Ancestry.com - This is the website that I spent so many hours on doing research for our family tree. I have in my possession many downloaded images of census records that back up a lot of my research. I fell in love with the census records in the 1800's for their penmanship and organization.
• Familysearch.org – This is an incredible database of genealogy maintained by the Church of LDS.
• Beverly Historical Society - This organization is located on Cabot Street in Beverly, Mass., and it archives many historical documents on and about the Larcom family. They are a wonderful group of people so willing to help with research. I have spent many hours in their reading room, and found it so fascinating!
• Genealogy.com Larcom Family Genealogy Forum - This is a forum to post questions or answers about our ancestry.

• East Feliciana Parish Genealogy Archives - This is a website with a collection of genealogy information for the people who lived in the East Feliciana Parish, Louisiana.
• Hercules Ship List – An alphabetical roll from the Port of Southampton.
• AncestryImages.com – This is a free image archive of antique prints of the Tourin Reigon of Italy.

WAR

• USS Myles C Fox DD/DDR-829 - This is a website about the ship my granddaddy was on in the US Navy in the 1940's.
• Primary Research Beverly Civil War Soldiers Database - This database shows Larcoms that were in the Civil War.

• Emeline Larcom Letters - This is a wonderful website documenting some letters from Emeline to her mother.
• Letter to Lucy from John G. Whittier - Digitized courtesy of Mount Holyoke College Library.
• Wheaton College Archives - This is a site with some photographs of Lucy.
• Larcom Hall at Wheaton College - This is a dormitory at Wheaton College which is named after Lucy for her many years of teaching at this college.
• Mass Moments, On This Day - April 17, 1893 "Mill Girl" Writer Lucy larcom Dies - Listen to this radio moment dedicated to the memory of Lucy.
• The Library of Congress - This website has many of Lucy's literary works scanned from original books and magazines. Simply search for "larcom".
• Cornell University Library Digital Collections - This the first of two pages with several links to high resolution handwritten and published poems and articles written by Lucy. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
